Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble is an orchestra of professional jazz performers led by Lithuanian composer Jievaras Jasinskis.
In 2022, the ensemble released their debut album of original compositions titled "American Stories." In January 2023, the ensemble introduced the album "Saxcess" by a saxophone group, and their third collective album "Deadly Dance" was released in June. In 2024, their digital album "Rave’n’Jazz" was released, boldly and uncompromisingly combining rave music with jazz. In 2024, the ensemble is preparing to release another album of original music, continuing to impress with their productivity.
Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble aims to ensure that high-quality, professionally performed Lithuanian jazz can present original music in competitive international scenes, and to ensure the respect of Lithuanian creators and musicians by providing opportunities for young talents to collaborate with seasoned veterans, thus enabling the sharing of knowledge and experience in the jazz market.
