No Name Jazz Fellas is a trio of three vibrant personalities who creatively experiment within the realm of modern jazz. Formed by Dmitrijus Golovanovas in 2022, the trio burst onto the jazz scene boldly and ambitiously, immediately presenting several programs—one featuring daringly arranged jazz standards, another dedicated to the works of jazz legend Chick Corea, and a third showcasing D. Golovanovas' original experimental compositions.
The trio’s concept and even its name serve as an artistic statement. The members—Dmitrijus Golovanovas, Artūrs Duckis, and Domantas Razmus—each recognized in the Lithuanian jazz world, challenge stereotypical thinking about making music, the musician’s career path, and question the structure of the music industry. They ask the listener: does recognition truly guarantee musical quality and artistic value, or can unknown friends ("no name jazz fellas") perform top-tier jazz without self-promotion?
In 2025, No Name Jazz Fellas plan to release their debut album.
