Dmitrij Golovanov and Jan Maksimovič form a mesmerizing creative tandem whose mastery has enchanted audiences for over 20 years, producing countless magical, fragile, and emotionally charged musical masterpieces born in the moment. The duo’s hallmark is spontaneous creation, imbued with wisdom, spirituality, and conciseness, elegantly balancing on the edge of intellect and intuition. Since 2019, the duo has released three albums. Their debut, Thousand Seconds of Our Life (2019), showcased their spontaneous improvisations. In 2020, they released Beyond, an album rich with real-time sampling techniques. Beyond transcends genre boundaries, challenges creative stereotypes, and boldly ventures into the unknown universe of new musical expressions. The artists themselves could find only one word to describe it—“Beyond.” In 2025, the duo unveiled another daring artistic statement, transforming and improvising on the works of Lithuanian classical composer M.K. Čiurlionis in the album After Čiurlionis, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth.
