The band "lazy diamond's underground" was founded in Vilnius in 2019 by vocalist and songwriter Paulina Simutytė and composer Andrius Šiurys (electronics, flugelhorn). "lazy diamond's underground" creates electro-acoustic music; their sound art is sometimes described as Lynch-hop, which blends elements of dark jazz, trip-hop, ambient, rap, tribal and other styles, psychedelic sounds and vocal-instrumental improvisations. In 2022, they released their debut album "Stone Poetry", which features not only music but also artworks by Paulina Simutytė. In the same year, "lazy diamond's underground" won second place in the NOVUS competition for young bands. At the beginning of 2024, Dominykas Snarskis (percussion) joined the band. The trio is currently working on their second album “Lingua”, which will be released at the end of 2025.
