The duo was formed in 2018 and has performed solo concerts at the Vilnius and Birštonas Accordion Festivals, Vilnius Mama Jazz Festival, Vilnius Grindinio Festival, Tauragė Jazz Days, the Classical Concert Hall at Gariūnai Business Center, Piano LT Hall, Music Magic Club in Vilnius, Užutrakis Manor, Vilnius University, and St. Catherine’s Church in Vilnius. In 2022, the duo received high praise from international experts in the Showcase program of the Vilnius Mama Jazz Festival. In the mentorship program, the ensemble was selected as one of the best groups.
Two highly creative musicians – accordionist Andrius Balachovičius and saxophonist Vytautas Labutis – merge their experiences in jazz and accordion music into a unique whole, creating a program full of contrasts, intrigue, and vibrant colors. Their repertoire consists of original compositions by the performers, as well as distinctive arrangements of jazz and accordion music. Their music incorporates a variety of stylistic influences, making their work polystylistic. The duo constantly seeks a balance between structured (thoughtfully arranged) compositions and improvisation, which is one of the defining features of their ensemble.
On February 11, 2025, the duo released their debut album on vinyl format, titled "REEDS".
