Jazz Craft – Summer Session is an international creative music camp for musicians aged 16 and over who wish to purposefully develop their improvisation, composition, and ensemble playing skills.

What can participants expect?
An intensive learning program: Participants will perform in ensembles of 6–7 musicians, exploring repertoire, principles of improvisation, and creative methods on a daily basis. The program includes masterclasses, creative workshops, and group lectures. Each participant will also receive time for individual consultations with the faculty.
Music-filled evenings: Faculty concerts, participant performances, and open jam sessions that become an essential part of the informal creative experience.
Accommodation at “Inovatorių Slėnis” park: Participants will stay in two residential buildings surrounded by nature. Older participants (up to 12 people) will stay in the main building, while younger participants will stay in the “Monastery” building. Rooms accommodate 4–6 people. Balanced meals will be provided throughout the camp.
Important details:
Participation fee: €395 (€365 for LJU members). The fee includes accommodation and meals.
Registration: Online registration. The number of places is limited.
Cancellation policy: Until July 1 – 80% refund, until August 1 – 50% refund, after August 1 – no refund.
Instruments: Participants must bring their own instruments (rental of larger instruments can be arranged individually).
Rules: Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited at the camp.
We are looking for volunteers
We are seeking up to 6 volunteers to help implement the camp. Volunteers will assist with camp preparation (setting up audio equipment, preparing spaces, social media communication) and help maintain general order during the camp. Arrival: August 2 from 18:00 Departure: After the camp, once the facilities are fully cleaned and restored. Volunteers are offered a reduced participation fee of €300, which also includes accommodation and meals.

Can I choose my roommate?
Yes, you can specify your preferred roommate during registration.
What kind of meals will be provided?
Participants receive three balanced meals per day. Vegetarian options are available. Please indicate any special dietary needs or allergies on the registration form.
Volunteers

- Preparing camp spaces (setting up musical equipment, arranging spaces for Instagram posts/stories, etc.)
- Maintaining order during the camp

Departure: only after all spaces are completely cleaned after the camp

Do I need a certain level of musical experience?
The camp welcomes participants of all levels – from beginners to advanced musicians.
Program activities:
- Daily ensemble sessions (6–7 musicians per group)

Study hours over 4 main teaching days:

Do I need to bring my instrument?
Yes, all participants must bring their own instrument. Organizers can provide large instruments (e.g., drums) for international students if requested in advance.

Will there be Wi-Fi at the camp?
Yes, but we encourage minimal use to immerse yourself in the creative atmosphere fully.
Are alcohol and tobacco consumption allowed at the camp?
No, the use of alcohol, tobacco, or other prohibited substances is strictly forbidden for minors.
Can I have visitors at the camp?
Only pre-approved visitors are allowed on camp grounds, to maintain a safe and focused environment.
