On our way to EJN conference

On 12-15 September the Lithuanian Jazz Union will participate in the Europe Jazz Network (EJN) General Assembly and Conference in Ghent, Belgium.

This year, 422 participants from 39 countries registered for the conference. Lithuania will be represented by LJU Board Chair Dorotėja Būdaitė and LJU President Dmitrij Golovanov.

The European Jazz Conference is the most important annual gathering of European jazz professionals, especially promoters, cultural managers, agents, national and regional support organisations. Since 2014, the General Assembly of the European Jazz Network has been extended and is now open to all music professionals.

The European Jazz Conference consists of inspiring keynote speeches, high-level panels, workshops, networking sessions for creative music professionals, cultural visits and a showcase festival featuring some of the country's top artists.

The European Jazz Conference is a unique event, the only one of its kind in Europe, with the aim of establishing long-term contacts, developing new projects and artistic collaborations, exchanging experiences and learning about the latest management and programming trends, music scenes and practices from all over the world, including non-European countries.
