Dainius Pulauskas - a pianist, keyboardist, band leader, and composer - has traveled the world with his Dainius Pulauskas Group concerts. "Pianist D. Pulauskas is undoubtedly one of the most interesting European fusion jazz composers," wrote critic Jan Patterson on the „Allaboutjazz.com“ website (October 10, 2011).
However, unlike the Dainius Pulauskas Group, the Dainius Pulauskas Trio is an acoustic trio in which Dainius invited younger generation musicians to play. The trio creates expressive musical spaces, colored with Nordic serenity and romanticism and has released 2 albums.
The trio exclusively performs Dainius Pulauskas's compositions, which carry a Baltic flavor featuring contrasting music, boldly employing various jazz styles, spontaneous improvisations, while also striving not to stray from the standards of acoustic jazz trio performance.
